Department of English organizes memorial lectures and interaction with distinguished literary writers/ poets/ playwrights/academicians on regular basis.

In continuity with this the department requests the alumni to sponsor Annual Balraj Saini Memorial Lecture.

The sponsorship for this lecture will be for five years.

In addition to this, department also invites the alumni to sponsor one student of MA English (Hons. FYIP) for five years

There is also an option to sponsor one student of MA (Hons.) English for two years.

A proposal for cash prizes for position holders of the department at Annual Sood Memorial Symposium is also presented.
