There has been significant increase in the number of UG and PG students in the Department of Sanskrit and Pali for the last two years.

The number of research scholars has also increased.

The library facility of the department does not match the student strength.

There is an urgent requirement to strengthen the library for teaching and research.

The department has invited sponsorship from the alumni for addition of books and infrastructure to its library.
